Spot iron ore prices up to US$142~US$144/ton C&F

Recently, the spot iron ore prices have continued to rise. At present, the spot prices of Indian iron ore fine contain 63.5% Fe surged to US$142~US$144/ton C&F, up by US$1~US$2/ton from the previous quote of US$140~US$143/ton.

It’s analyzed that Chinese steel mills’ active purchase for stockpile before the Christmas and New Year holiday was the main reason to push up the spot iron ore prices.
